When I went to college, I wasn't aware that a career in design was an option, and at the time UX wasn’t a thing. After I graduated, I found myself working temp jobs in marketing and advertising but had the itch to jump on the creative side.
I began my journey as a photo-retoucher working for Starwood Hotels and then Saks Fifth Avenue. At the same time, I started taking continuing education classes at NYU to learn web design.
I then spent 9 years at CNBC growing along with the organization. CNBC Digital grew into a full-fledged product design studio. It allowed me the opportunity to see our digital products grow from vendor-sourced solutions to in-house design-driven initiatives.
I spent the next 2 years working on a large-scale B2B application for AB-InBev with an ever-expanding team serving the needs of small businesses globally.
I am currently working at Meta on the Recruiting Products team.
I'll do my best to reply promptly.
